Runners and walkers enjoyed a sunny day at the 1-2-5 Run & Walk held on Saturday, November 13th. Almost 500 participants warmed-up in Eau Claire Market before taking to the Bow River pathway. This free family event celebrated the Calgary Board of Education’s 125th anniversary and brought together CBE staff, students, and their families along with other Calgarians to enjoy a healthy living activity. Participants ran and walked 1, 2, or 5 KM. Before and after the event participants were entertained by the Lord Beaverbrook High School Jazz Band. A special thank you goes out to the many volunteers who gave their time to make this event a big success.
