Offer of Employment - Documents Required
Should you be offered employment with the Calgary Board of Education, please ensure that you have the following original documents ready for us to verify and photocopy.
- Social Insurance Number Card
- Work Visa Documentation if Social Insurance Number Card begins with a 9
- Birth Certificate, Passport or Citizenship Card
- All post-secondary certificates, diplomas, degrees, professional licences, etc.
- First Aide / CPR certificates (if applicable as a CBE job requirement)
- Driver’s Licence (if applicable as a CBE job requirement)
In order to ensure and maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment, all CBE employees must complete and pass a police security clearance prior to their first day of work before their employment may be confirmed. To facilitate the police security clearance process, please have two pieces of government identification ready, one from each column.
