Staff Development Funds
CBE contributes each year to the maintenance of staff development
funds for teachers,
professional support staff,
and support/office
staff for the reimbursement of academic pursuits.
Paid Leaves and Exchanges
- Professional Improvement Fellowship (PIF) leaves provide teachers, professional support staff, support/office staff and management with an opportunity to pursue learning activities that stimulate professional, personal and intellectual growth while receiving a fellowship equivalent to 65% of their salary.
- Teacher Exchanges internationally
Chinook Learning Services
Chinook Learning Services is the CBE's Continuing Education provider where employees can take long or short courses to help further their career or just have some fun. All CBE employees receive a discount off regular priced program courses.
