WOW UP your CBE library with books from Weigl Publishers
A new initiative was started this year between the Calgary Board of Education and Weigl Publishers, called “Wow Up Your CBE Library with Books from Weigl Publishers”. The project was aimed at enhancing school’s libraries through donated books; 51 schools benefitted from Wow Up Your Library this year. Through Weigl Publishers generous donation, over 1000 books that are connected to the Alberta Education curriculum will be in our CBE libraries in June. Another 2000 books will be given out to students through the CBE’s Book Bags for Kids Program for 2011-2012.
