health supports

Health Supports include social, emotional, behavioural and rehabilitative supports that improve a student's ability to access their school program and be successful at learning. Health supports promote the well-being of the whole child across a broad spectrum of services. These may include mentorships, social skills programs, grief counselling, nutritional support, and support for immigrant children. Health supports complement and enhance the range of services that Calgary Board of Education provides to students with exceptional needs.
