The Student Transition Service Project is designed to address the unique needs of identified students who are at risk of not completing school or are having difficulty in transitioning between schools. This project aims to combine existing resources with individually designed service plans to help these students participate fully in educational programs to attain their potential and to be successful at learning.

eligibility

The Calgary Board of Education Student Response Team includes the Transition project as an integral part of their continuum of service. The Transitions project is designed to provide support once all other avenues for the student have been explored.

referral source

The school is the gateway for all referrals. This may include the school in which the student is enrolled, the school that has terminated the student's placement or the school that is receiving the student.
