student accommodation
Student accommodation refers to the placement of students and educational programs in the right school facilities at the right time. Changes to current placements of school programs, student designations and attendance areas are governed by the Long Range Student Accommodation Planning Process, a public participation procedure designed to give key stakeholders a voice in decisions that impact them. The Long Range Student Accommodation Planning Process, also known as AR 1090 (Administrative Regulation), is administrated collaboratively between the Area Offices and the Department of Community Engagement and Operational Planning. To learn more about AR 1090 and to review updates on current student accommodation issues, please click here.
