Also included are the provisionally approved tentative school instructional calendars for the school years 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. Tentative calendars are provided to help families look at planning ahead; however, unforeseen circumstances may require adjustments to any school instructional calendar. Modified Instructional Calendars
The modified instructional calendar is established by the Calgary Board of Education. The system Modified Instructional Calendar may be adapted by schools to reflect the needs of their school community. Small differences in the calendar may exist from school to school as decisions are made about scheduling Parent/Teacher Interviews, Professional Learning Time and Organizational Days.
