archivesCBE Earth Hour All schools and departments are being asked to participate! Here’s what you need to do: Step 1: Send an e-mail to ecoteam@cbe.ab.ca with the subject line ‘CBE Earth Hour’ and your school or department’s name will be posted on the CBE Earth Hour page. Sign up today! Step 2: Communicate! Let everyone at your school, or site, know that you will be participating in the CBE Earth Hour and turning out the lights at 2 p.m. for one hour on Wed April 20. Designate staff and/or students to be responsible for turning out the lights at 2 p.m. on Wed April 20. If you need posters and/or light decals, please send an e-mail to ecoteam@cbe.ab.ca and we will send them out to you! Step 3: Turn out all non-emergency lighting on Wed, April 20 at 2 p.m. for one hour. Make it an event!
