archivesGenerate 2011: Energy Literacy Youth SummitWho are the emerging young leaders in your division passionate about science, energy and the environment? In beautiful Kananaskis, March 17-20, 2011, Inside Education is hosting its premier energy literacy youth summit -— Generate 2011 — to provide these dynamic young people with an opportunity to learn together with their teachers. At the Generate 2011 Summit, 20 energy literacy teams from across the province will explore Alberta’s energy story: environment, technology, and careers through interactive sessions and workshops. The conference will generate awareness, discussion, and action that will see student teams apply their learning to meaningful stewardship projects in their school or community. We have an exciting three-day program including: keynote speakers, themed sessions, parallel programming for students and educators, exhibition and a social event at Boundary Ranch. Inside Education is a non-profit natural resources education society. We have been delivering quality professional development opportunities for teachers and curriculum-based programs for students for 25 years with the help of our partners in government, industry and the conservation sector.
