Community Engagement Sharing Back on Transportation

Sharing Back on Transportation

We have been out talking to the CBE community this spring about how we close the $13 million budget gap for transportation services. Below you will find information about what we've heard so far, including notes from the April workshops we hosted, a summary of the online survey results and possible scenarios for closing the budget gap.

 Possible Scenarios

These scenarios were developed during an April 21 scenario-building workshop with Transportation Engagement Advisory Committee members, CBE Transportation and Finance staff, and some participants from the April workshops. Following that workshop, CBE staff took a closer look at the scenarios that were proposed and added some additional options for consideration and discussion. Below you will find a chart that summarizes all of the scenarios that have been developed.

We'd like to thank the 19 people who participated in our scenario-building workshop. Their perspectives were valuable in creating these options for consideration.

The online survey on these scenarios closed on May 8. Thank you to the 19 people who participated in the scenario-building workshop and the more than 1,750 people who completed the online scenario survey. We are looking at the input we have gathered and will be communicating about transportation services for the 2016-17 school year before the end of May.
