new National Sport School opens at Canada Olympic park
CALGARY—More than 150 of Canada’s future Olympians will arrive with their sports gear and school supplies at the new home of the National Sport School for the first day of classes on Sept. 6.
Olympic gold medallist and National Sport School alumnus, Kyle Shewfelt, will join national sport leaders and CBE representatives to welcome student-athletes for the official opening of the new school at Canada Olympic Park.
Quality education is at the heart of WinSport Canada’s vision to build the Canadian Sport Institute in southern Alberta. Relocating the school to Canada Olympic Park is the next major addition in WinSport Canada’s continued goal to centralize training and resources for Canadian athletes with construction of the nation’s first Canadian Sport Institute.
The CBE is proud to deliver personalized learning opportunities to more than 100,000 students. As a leader in education, the CBE provides learning opportunities as unique as every student.
