CBE Board of Trustees provides direction on funding
Calgary—The Board of Trustees of the Calgary Board of Education has provided specific direction to Administration for additional one-time funding.
At a board meeting Tuesday, Oct. 18, the Board of Trustees directed Administration to use $4.2 million for Alberta Initiative for School Improvement initiatives and direct the remainder of the $19.2 million to schools.
The difference of $15 million will be distributed to schools using the same method used for school budgets. This is called the “resource allocation model (RAM).”
