news release for immediate release CBE Board of Trustees provides direction on fundingCalgary—The Board of Trustees of the Calgary Board of Education has provided specific direction to Administration for additional one-time funding. At a board meeting Tuesday, Oct. 18, the Board of Trustees directed Administration to use $4.2 million for Alberta Initiative for School Improvement initiatives and direct the remainder of the $19.2 million to schools. The difference of $15 million will be distributed to schools using the same method used for school budgets. This is called the “resource allocation model (RAM).” For more information:
