COLONEL WALKER SCHOOL STUDENTS CREATE A BRIGHT FUTURE

One World Drummers add rhythm to winter celebration

The students of Colonel Walker School are pleased to invite you to their Winter Celebration on Friday, December 23, 2005. The event celebrates the holiday season, last day of fall classes and the students’ one-week art residency with One World Drummers, a local troupe made up of lively, dedicated musicians who perform traditional West African music that enriches society and fosters growth, healing and a sense of gathering.

When: Friday, December 23, 2005
1:30 p.m. — Children sing traditional holiday carols
2:00 p.m. — One World Drummers lead and perform with students
3:00 p.m. — Close

Where: Colonel Walker School, gymnasium
