CALGARY — The Calgary Board of Education invites you to join us for a Traditional Pow Wow at Crescent Heights High School on May 5, 2017, showcasing and honouring Aboriginal culture within the CBE and the greater Calgary community.

Traditional Pow Wows mark a time in Aboriginal culture of celebration, healing and spiritual growth within and amongst communities. The CBE Traditional Pow Wow celebrates the success of all students in the spirit of reconciliation. 

The event supports the CBE’s mission of promoting successful high school completion, by providing a student-driven showcase of Aboriginal peoples’ culture and supports the mandate of Alberta Education to improve the success of First Nations, Metis and Inuit students through a holistic approach that honours and celebrates their culture and traditions.
