HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma

• Students need a minimum of 100 credits to graduate with an Alberta High School Diploma. Diploma program courses include a variety of program options to meet individual needs. All CBE high schools offer the courses needed to satisfy the Alberta High School Diploma requirements.

Certificate of Achievement

• Students need to earn a minimum of 80 credits and students must be enrolled in a minimum of one academic Knowledge and Employability academic course. The requirements for entry into post-secondary institutions and workplaces may require additional courses.
