psychological services
The Calgary Board of Education provides psychological services to students. Every school in the Calgary Board of Education has assigned time from a Psychologist who provides services such as:
- assessment and diagnosis,
- intervention,
- consultation and professional development.
The principal of the school is responsible for prioritizing needs at the school and requesting Psychological services. Parents or guardians must provide written informed consent for Psychological services to their children. Parents/guardians who believe their child would benefit from Psychological services, are encouraged to initiate a conversation with the school principal.
