Area II offers a range of programs to meet the diverse needs of our learners Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Area II consists of 40 communities located in the northwest and northeast areas of Calgary, including the new and growing communities of Panorama Hills, Coventry Hills, Evanston, Kincora and Sage Hill. It is bounded by the Bow River to the south, the city limits to the north, Crowchild Trail NW, Nose Hill Park and Simons Valley Road to the west and Deerfoot Trail and Barlow Trail to the east.

Area II has 49 schools with 22,956 students enrolled in 2011-2012 in

  • 28 Elementary Schools
  • 9 Elementary/ Junior High and Middle Schools
  • 3 Junior High Schools
  • 2 Junior/Senior High Schools (Grades 7-12)
  • 4 Senior High Schools (Grades 10-12)
  • 3 Special/Unique Settings
