Student
accommodation refers to the effective placement of students
in an educational environment that will provide excellent academic,
extra-curricular, co-curricular and social learning opportunities
for all CBE students. Student accommodation issues may include,
but are not limited to, declining/accelerating student enrolment,
school utilization, school boundary changes, program expansion including
Special Education, recommendations that Trustees consider the closure
of programs and schools, contingency planning in the event of an
emergency or for short-term accommodation of students in the event
of new school construction delays.
