As per the CBE’s School Capital Plan 2006-2009, Royal
Oak School is planned to be a K-4 school accommodating students from the
Royal Oak and Rocky Ridge communities and will have an opening capacity of 550.

Royal Oak School will be part of the area plan for Area I (Dianne Yee,
Director).
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Scott MacNeill has been appointed as Principal of Royal Oak School, effective February 1, 2010. In preparation for the opening of new schools in September 2010, all staff will be hired by Principals as part of the normal round of Spring staffing in May 2010.
