Terry Fox School is located in the northeast community of Falconridge, serving the communities of Castleridge, Falconridge, Martindale, and Taradale. Elementary feeder schools to Terry Fox School are Chris Akkerman, Falconridge, Grant MacEwan, Marlborough, and O.S. Geiger. Students from Terry Fox School move on to James Fowler High School.

About the School
|
Terry Fox School was opened in 1995 as the first multi-track year-round junior high school in Canada. This year, we have adopted a modified school calendar that more closely resembles our elementary feeder schools. The school prides itself on its extensive technology infrastucture, its commitment to integrated learning, including the CAPES art program, its excellent extracurricular and intramural program, and its bright, open classrooms.

Terry Fox School is named in honour of Terry Fox, the young Canadian whose valiant run for cancer research continues to inspire all Canadians.

We are committed to developing the cognitive, affective, and behavioural domains of learners within a framework of individual and collective rights, respect and responsibilities. It is wholeheartedly acknowledged that this includes ensuring students, professional and support staff all have a safe learning environment in which to pursue quality learning goals. Communication with parents, and the community at large, is also an essential component of Terry Fox Junior High School.
