Rosedale School is located in the northwest community of Rosedale, serving the communities of Rosedale and Crescent Heights. With permission from the school principal, it is not uncommon for students at the junior high level to travel to Rosedale from communities outside our geographical boundaries. Students generally transition from Rosedale to Crescent Heights High School.

About the School

The school was built in 1955 and was originally the observation school for the education program at the University of Alberta, Calgary Campus. The school has 9 classrooms, music room, science room, an elementary school sized gymnasium, and a PC computer lab located the library.
