Saddle Ridge School is located in the north east community of Saddleridge. It accommodates students in Kindergarten to Grade 3, and has an anticipated total student school capacity of 650 to be reached within the first years of opening. Students in grades 4 to 6 attend Colonel Macleod School.

About the School

Saddle Ridge school was completed in 2010. Saddle Ridge School is one of 6 new Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools designed and built under the Provincial Government’s new Public-Private Partnership (P3) construction model. The development of Saddle Ridge School has been based upon the Alberta Chapter’s LEED vision of the Canadian Green Building Council. Information about this important LEED protocol is available at http://www.cagbc.org/chapters/alberta/index.php
