school profiles

Please note | we’re building a new interactive mapping tool to make it easier to find schools using a familiar web interface, and will no longer be using the maps on this page. Because of that, these interactive maps show the boundaries for the 2013-14 school year, and may not be accurate for the 2014-15 school year. For current information, please refer to the “find a school by address” tool to find your designated school, see the list of schools by residential district and grade, or visit the school profile of the school you’re interested in to see the walk zone map in PDF. Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to sharing our new site with you soon.

About the School

Bridlewood School was one of 6 new elementary schools to open in the Calgary Board of Education in September 2010. Bridlewood School is a large, single story accessible building. The modern building is bright, open and constructed to LEED Silver standards (an international environmental building standard). There are 12 classrooms in the core building and 12 relocatable classrooms to accommodate our growing population. Common areas within the school provide places for meeting, sharing and creating in small groups and large school wide presentations. Students access a well resourced Learning Commons. A large gymnasium, traverse wall, compound with line games, field and several soccer pitches are available for Physical Education and less structured, active times.
