Huntington Hills School is located in the community of Huntington Hills in NW Calgary. The school is situated on the southwest edge of the community, east of 14th Street North and north of 64th Avenue West, in the shadow of Nosehill.

About the School
|
The school was built in 1968. It's attractive setting, unique architecture, and open area design make it a beautiful place in which to learn.
There is a state-of-the-art computer lab situated in the library loft and a wireless computer network. There are 12 Open-area class settings from kindergarten to grade 6 including a Paced Learning Program and a Learning Literacy class. The school also boasts a music room, science area, art area, a stage and a gymnasium/auditorium. In addition there are two ancilary teaching spaces, a spacious and well maintained library, a conference room, a staff room and a teacher preparation room.
There is an expansive playground with 2 soccer fields and 2 creative play structures and a sheltered area with shrubs and flowers. The school community recently erected one of these fabulous structures complete with climbing walls and numerous other adventurous aparatus for the students and families of the community to explore, to play on and to enjoy.
