About the School
|
Harold Panabaker was named in the honour of Mr. Harold Panabaker and opened in 1963. He is an example of excellence in academic achievement and citizenship. We are pleased to promote excellence as a tribute to the schools name sake.
We have enhanced our learning programs with increased access to technology in our school. The use of wireless laptops, smart boards, and digital on-line learning environments all contribute to student success.
In addition to academic achievement we are pleased to offer our learners an enhanced fitness center as well as an outdoor sports court to enrich our active daily living curriculm.
The location of our school is ideal. The adjoining park area that backs onto Harold Panabaker provides for well-situated and maintained sports fields. We have several opportunities to work with various services offered throughout the community, from neighbouring elementary schools to senior facilities. We have many opportunities to reinforce active citizenship with our students.
