Varsity Acres School is located in the community of Varsity Acres, next to the Varsity Community Center. Some of our families make use of the before and after school care at the Community Center adjacent to the school. Varsity Acres School serves the following NW communities in Calgary: Bowness, Greenwood Village, Citadel, Montgomery, Scenic Acres, Silver Springs, Crestmont, Valley Ridge, Varsity Acres, Tuscany, Sherwood, Ranchlands, Hawkwood, Arbour Lake, Hamptons, Nolan Hill and University Housing. 390 (75%) students are bussed to school.

About the School

The school was built in 1965 and is situated on 7.66 acres. The school has 21 classrooms, 2 relocatables, and 1 portable. It has a large library, a gymnasium, a music room, 1 computer lab, and a gym. The school has a French Immersion Program. Special Education students are integrated into the French Immersion classes.
