Prince of Wales School is located in the southeast community of Parkland and serves the students of this community.

Prince of Wales is a strong school community consisting of 29 professional and support staff, 350 students, and 150 volunteers, working together to provide quality learning experiences for children.

The community of Parkland is representative of a middle-class socio-economic area with a low transiency rate resulting in a stable student population. Students from Prince of Wales move on to Wilma Hansen School for Grades 7 to 9 and then to Lord Beaverbrook High School.
