The Calgary Board of Education keeps records on Calgary Board of Education
students for the years they attended CBE schools (Grades kindergarten
to 12). Official Student Transcript are issued by Alberta Education.
The Calgary Board of Education keeps cumulative records on CBE students
if available, for the years they attended CBE schools (Grades K-12). Student
records may be required for purposes such as entering the military, continuation
of secondary education, and proof of English elementary education (for
Bill 101 in Quebec).

(required for entry to post-secondary institutions).
For a copy of your student record:
If you left a CBE school within the last four years, contact the school.
For records from Calgary Catholic, contact the Calgary Catholic School
District.
If you are looking for records from adult academic courses contact
Alberta Education (See transcript) If you took courses with Continuing
Education, for credit courses contact 403-777-8921 and for
credit-free courses contact 403-777-7550.
Otherwise, submit a request to Records Management, Calgary Board of
Education. If you are 18 years of age, or are making application on
the behalf of a minor, Records Management requires a signed letter of

Student Transcripts
A transcript is an official record of high school marks
accepted by post secondary institutions, and is issued by Alberta Education
for this district. There is a fee for this service. To request your official
transcript, contact the Alberta Education Information Exchange in Edmonton
at 780 427-5732 or go to the Alberta
Education website. Transcripts cannot be ordered over the phone.
