Alberta Learning requires School Boards to account to the public and government for the education of students and use of resources. The Annual Education Results Report (AERR) highlights the progress, accomplishments, and results achieved in the past year as a result of implementing the jurisdiction education plan.

Three-Year Education Plan
The CBE's Three-Year Education Plan is based on the principle of continuous improvement and focuses directly on student learning outcomes.
Accountability Pillar Results Report The Accountability Pillar Results Report uses provincial surveys of students, parents and the public to provide a snapshot of overall school board performance, in the eyes of its stakeholders and participants.
Ten-Year Facilities Plan CBE is required to submit a Ten-Year capital plan to the province by June of each year. As approvals are solely within the purview of the provincial government, the funding available to CBE for capital projects fluctuates considerably from year to year. Note, provincial funding approvals are made on an annual basis and not within the longer-term planning context school boards are required to plan.

Facility Condition Report This report provides detail with regards to the condition of CBE schools and other buildings. It lists more than $623 million of repair work that is on the “deferred maintenance list.” This latest version was sent to the provincial government last spring.
School Enrolment Report See the latest numbers that describe CBE’s large student population: Kindergarten, elementary, junior high, senior high, outreach programs, unique settings. This report also provides a summary of population trends within the City of Calgary.
