Carol Bazinet
Trsutee, Wards 12 & 14

Carol Bazinet, Trustee for Wards 12 & 14, was first elected in a December 2003 by-election. Wards 12 & 14 encompass the "deep south" of the City.

Carol initially became involved in public education as a classroom volunteer and with School Councils in her children's schools. Many of you may know Carol from her active involvement with Calgary Association of Parents and School Councils where she served as President for three years.

Carol was raised in Scarborough, Ontario. She received a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. Carol is married to Guy Bazinet, a teacher in the Calgary Board of Education and they have five children. They have lived in Calgary since 1992.
