Please note that the schedule of board meetings is subject to change. To confirm the date of a particular board meeting, contact the Office of the Corporate Secretary at 403-817-7917 or 403-817-7916 or by e-mail at corpsec@cbe.ab.ca.

The Board generally holds public meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month during the school year. These public meetings commence at 5:00 p.m. and are held in the board room at the Education Centre (1221 - 8 Street SW). The board meeting agenda and copies of the reports (in PDF format) are posted the Monday before a board meeting on this site.

Requests to make a presentation to the Board should be sent in writing to the Corporate Secretary's Office or e-mail corpsec@cbe.ab.ca. Individuals and small groups who would like to speak personally to any of the Trustees can make an appointment through the Trustees' Office at 403-817-7933.

Stakeholder Reports (PDF)

An opportunity for stakeholder groups or the public to verbally address the Board for 3 minutes on any educational issue, to a maximum of 5 reports per meeting. Advise the Corporate Secretary at least 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the meeting if you wish to do a stakeholder presentation. You can also e-mail call the Corporate Secretary’s Office in advance at corpsec@cbe.ab.ca or call 403-817-7916 or 403-817-7917.

Public Question Period (PDF)

An opportunity for the public and/or stakeholder to raise questions and seek clarification on educational matters with the trustees. Fill out "Public Question Period" form on the table in the foyer, and submit to the Corporate Secretary in writing or electronically to corpsec@cbe.ab.ca no later than 5 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the meeting. This form is also available in Appendix C of the Board Meeting Procedures (PDF). The person asking the question must be present at the meeting.
