International Opportunities

The focus on global citizenship within the CBE, prepares staff and students to think, act, and speak in diverse cultural settings with awareness and world-mindedness. This empowers us to move from one cultural setting to another with confidence and competence.

 International Youth Leadership Summit (IYLS)

Each spring students in Grades 9 – 12 meet at the Education Centre for a conference focusing on youth leadership. The summit is created by students for students. Through keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and a Resource Fair, you will explore many ways to get involved in your community, both locally and globally.

The IYLS provides youth involved in leadership initiatives an opportunity to travel to Beijing, China to experience youth leadership from another perspective.

To get involved in the IYLS watch for notices in your Student Services department or speak to your International Student/Certificate Coordinator for details.
