Embrace the World en Français (pdf)
French Immersion is the most predominant alternative language program within the Calgary Board of Education. French is used as the language of instruction beginning in Kindergarten or Grade 1 and continuing to Grade 12.

- Entry points - Kindergarten or Grade 1
- Proportion of French to English
- Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 2:
100% French (No English is taught, English Language Arts is formally introduced in Grade 3)
- Grade 3:
80% French; 20% English (English Language Arts is formally introduced)
- Grades 4, 5 and 6:
70% French; 30% English
- Subjects taught in French:
- Grades 7, 8 and 9:
French Language Arts; Mathematics; Science; Social Studies
- Grades 10, 11 and 12:
French Language Arts; Social Studies; Mathematics
