High School Upgrading is Moving Downtown

Dec. 09, 2025

Chinook Learning Services (Chinook) is excited to announce that beginning February 2026, all in-person High School Upgrading courses will relocate to downtown Calgary in leased space at Bow Valley College.

This move consolidates programs currently offered at Forest Lawn High School, Lord Shaughnessy High School, and James Fowler High School into one central location. Students will benefit from modern post-secondary facilities, easy access to Calgary Transit, and a supportive environment that connects high school upgrading with future post-secondary opportunities.

For the remainder of the Fall 2025 semester, daytime courses will continue at Forest Lawn and Lord Shaughnessy, while evening courses remain at James Fowler. Winter 2026 course information is now available, and applications are now open online.
