Navigating a future career in the trades can feel daunting.

That’s why the new Calgary Trades & Technologies Collegiate (CTTC) provides Calgary Board of Education (CBE) high school students with hands-on opportunities to explore and experience careers in skilled building trades and related technologies, fields that are in high demand across Alberta and Canada and careers that power the world around us.

Collegiates are schools with direct affiliations to post-secondary connections, where students can make real-world connections while completing high school.

The CTTC works in partnership with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). This pathway supports:

  • Real-world experiences
  • Hands-on training
  • Direct exposure to industry experts

This empowers students to gain the skills, confidence, and insight needed to prepare for and enter today’s workforce.
