This list includes some of the funding opportunities available to help self-identified​ Indigenous students pursue studies after high school. This is not a complete list.

Click the links for award amounts, eligibility criteria, applications and submission deadlines. Students should declare their Indigenous identity on any award ​or scholarship application​ as many have special considerations for Indigenous students. For help applying, connect with your high school counsellor/guidance office.​

Application deadlines are different. Most deadlines are in the spring but others occur throughout the entire year.

Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board Family of Scholarships

Candidates must be of Indigenous descent and pursuing apprenticeship training in a skilled trade.
