Construction Status
This school is currently in the initial design stage with Alberta Infrastructure and is targeting a 2029–30 completion date. Confirmed opening dates, final designation areas, grade configurations, and programming will be determined closer to the school opening. This ensures decisions reflect the most current enrolment and local population data, which can change over time. The CBE in partnership with Alberta Infrastructure hosted open houses between January 27 and February 4, 2026, to present
preliminary designs for schools approved for development across the city. Community members were invited to attend and learn more about these upcoming school projects. Questions and feedback received during the events or via our online survey, have supported the development of our updated Frequently Asked Questions page for New School Projects.
