Registration Will Begin mid January 2027 for the 2027–2028 School Year
Prior to starting the registration process, you will require the following information:

Must include parent / legal guardian / independent student name.

- Utility bill
- Home or renters insurance
- Income tax statement
- Mortgage statement
- Property tax assessment
- CRA letter
Child’s Proof of Age, Citizenship & Legal Name

- Canadian citizenship certificate
- Permanent residence confirmation
- Certificate of Indian Status

Students who are not Canadian citizens will be contacted after registration by the CBE Welcome Centre.

1Schools In Lottery
The Calgary Board of Education continuously monitors enrolment across all schools. If enrolment or registration requests exceed a school or program’s capacity, a school’s need to hold a lottery may change.

2Review The Schools With A Program In Lottery
If your designated regular or alternative program school is listed below, you must submit your registration by 12:00 PM (Noon) on Feb. 10, 2026, to be included in the lottery.
