Planning is underway for what the 2020-21 school year will look like for our students, staff and families. The CBE has created an internal task force with representatives from every service unit to lead the planning for different scenarios. All of our decisions will be guided by the advice of the province’s chief medical officer of health and Alberta Education guidelines. The safety and well being of our students and staff will come first in any decisions we make. More information will be provided to families before the first day of classes on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020.
When Do Classes Start?
Classes for all students start on Sep. 1, 2020. Due to COVID-19, both Traditional and Modified calendar schools will follow the Traditional calendar for the 2020-21 school year.
