Richard Hehr is currently serving his first term on the Board of Trustees representing Wards 8 & 9. Richard was involved in Alberta public education for 41 years – 30 of them with the Calgary Board of Education (CBE).
Richard’s wife Judy also had a distinguished career with the CBE and is now retiring as the trustee for Wards 8 & 9. Richard’s children Kent and Kristie are proud graduates of Sir Winston Churchill High School. He has three grandchildren presently attending CBE schools. Jackson and Parker are at Earl Grey while Marshall has entered the late French Immersion program at Elboya.
Richard is totally dedicated to the CBE and the students and families it serves. He believes strongly every student attending a CBE school deserves the very best education Alberta’s society can provide. Parents must feel confident that their child is being provided this opportunity to maximize their potential for a happy, rewarding and successful life.
Richard is extremely pleased to be given this opportunity to make a positive difference on behalf of the CBE's almost 125,000 students over the next four years.
