Follow the steps below to register children who are
new to the CBE and learn what
documentation you will need for registration. Current CBE students do not need to register—their current school will assign their grade and school for next year.
Registration is not first come, first served. However, if a school or program is using a
lottery, forms must be submitted by the deadline to be included.
Registration and admission are governed by the
Education Act.
Students are a assigned a designated school based on their home address or program choice. You can also apply for an
Alternative Program during the registration process.

Kindergarten
2025-2026
Children must be at least five years old as of Dec. 31, 2025 to start kindergarten in fall 2025.

2026-2027
Children must be at least five years old as of Dec. 31, 2026 to start kindergarten in fall 2026. Registration for the 2026-27 school year begins Jan. 12, 2026.
Grades 1-12
2025-2026
Children must be at least six years old as of Dec. 31, 2025 to start Grade 1 in fall, 2025.
2026-2027
Children must be at least six years old as of Dec. 31, 2026 to start Grade 1 in fall, 2026. Registration for the 2026-27 school year begins Jan. 12, 2026.
