Summer School
Summer School Course Fees
Fees must be paid in person at the Chinook Registration Office at Lord Shaughnessy High School or through your MyCBE account before classes begin.
Waivers are not applicable. A service fee of $25 is charged for all NSF cheques. All fees are subject to change. Diploma Rewrite Fees are not included in Summer School course fees.
Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents
Students 19 Years of Age or Younger (as of September 1, 2025)
Students 20 Years of Age or Older (as of September 1, 2025)

Temporary Residents
Students 19 Years of Age or Younger (as of September 1, 2025)
Students with a Study Permit or Work Permit are not required to pay course fees if their parent also holds a Study Permit or Work Permit, provided that both the student and parent live in Alberta as of September 30 of the current school year.
Students 20 Years of Age or Older (as of September 1, 2025)

International Students of All Ages
Students on a Study Permit, whose parents do not reside in Alberta, are considered to be International students.

Refunds
Course fees include a non-refundable Program Fee of $65. A full refund is given only when a class is cancelled. Refunds are not issued after the refund deadline or for non-attendance.
- Refund deadline is July 14, 2026
Fee-paying students who withdraw by the deadline will have to wait 4-6 weeks for their refund to be processed.
