New Calgary Trades & Technologies Collegiate Launches

In January, we proudly launched the Calgary Trades & Technologies Collegiate (CTTC), expanding the range of choices available for students to explore future career pathways. CTTC provides CBE high school students with real-world, hands-on opportunities to learn about skilled building trades and related technologies through a structured, three-year pathway that begins in the second semester of Grade 10 and continues throughout high school. Offered in partnership with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), CTTC is one of many CBE programs designed to support meaningful career exploration and prepare students for success beyond high school.

CBE collaborates with post-secondary institutions, industry partners and community organizations to offer a wide-range of unique opportunity for students.

You are Invited to Participate in School Planning

We encourage families to take part in their school’s planning conversations this February and March. By sharing your perspectives on the school development plan, budget, and school fees, you help shape a learning environment that supports student success, equity, and well-being. Your voice truly makes a difference in decisions that impact your child’s education. Watch for details from your school about upcoming opportunities to get involved.
