John G. Diefenbaker High School Students to Bike for 24 Hours to Raise Money for Alberta Children's Hospital

CALGARY – John G. Diefenbaker High School students will pedal, cycle and spin for 24 hours at the fourth annual Ride of the Chiefs in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

More than 25 teams comprised of students, parents and community sponsors will ride in shifts for 24 hours straight. During the event there will be numerous activities including entertainment, yoga classes, food vendors and more!

Close to $35,000 was raised last year and the school hopes to raise $40,000 this year.

Media are invited to attend the event, or to contact the school to set up an alternative time for photos and interviews with students and school staff.
