Media Advisory | You're Invited to a Sneak Peek of North Trail High School

CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) is thrilled to be welcoming students to its newest high school on Aug. 31. To mark the occasion, CBE is hosting a guided tour of North Trail High School for news media on Friday, Aug. 25. School principal Michael Bester will lead the tour, accompanied by several North Trail High School students. 

North Trail High School welcomes Grades 10 and 11 in the 2023-24 school year, with the addition of Grade 12 in 2024-25. The school serves the communities of Country Hills, Country Hills Village, Coventry Hills, Harvest Hills, Hidden Valley and Panorama Hills. 

The school, built by Alberta Infrastructure and Bird Construction, has excellent learning spaces, including bright classrooms, large gathering spaces, a theatre, career and technology classrooms, automotive shops, culinary arts classrooms, science labs, gymnasiums, and more. 

Join us from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Who:   Principal Michael Bester and several incoming students will be available for interviews.  

Please park your vehicle in the closest parking lot situated closest to Harvest Hills Boulevard.

Schedule of Events

  • 10 a.m.                 Meet at the front doors of North Trail High School
  • 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Tour of the school and opportunities for interviews

The tour may include the gathering space, the theatre, the gymnasium, the automotive shop, classrooms, a culinary arts classroom, a science lab, a career and technology classroom and the many common areas throughout the school.
