Are you interested in running for the vacant trustee seat for Wards 11 & 13? The Calgary Board of Education Board of Trustees will be holding an information session for all interested candidates.
Date: Monday, Jan. 26, 2015
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Braeside School – 1747 107 Ave. S.W.
“This meeting will be an opportunity for interested candidates to ask questions to the Board of Trustees about the work we do. As well, we will be providing background information about the role of a trustee and the board,” said Joy Bowen-Eyre, chair.
Anyone interested in attending is asked to RSVP to boardoftrustees@cbe.ab.ca by Friday, Jan. 23.
The Ward 11 & 13 seat has been vacant since October 2014. The Board of Trustees voted at the Dec.2, 2014 meeting to hold a byelection.
The byelection has been called for Monday, April 13, 2015.
