Off-campus Education connects what students learn in school with the real world in a variety of ways, including job-shadowing, volunteering and paid positions. It helps prepare students for the workplace through hands-on experiences. These opportunities are offered to all high school students.
Two of the most popular and unique Off-campus Education programs are Work Experience and the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP). Students are able to access these programs during the school year from their home high school and/or may apply to the programs during the summer through Chinook Learning Services Summer Off-Campus program.
Get in touch with your school’s Off-Campus Coordinator and/or Guidance Counsellor to discuss these options and to register.
