Supporting English as Additional Language Learners

This school year, CBE is supporting more and more students who are learning English as an additional language (EAL). In fact, about 40,000 students, or 29 per cent of all CBE students are EAL.

To ensure students are set up for success, they are assessed through our Welcome Centre and then supported in many ways as they transition to CBE schools.
