How Do We Know If Students Are Successful?

The Board of Trustees monitors the academic success of students annually to ensure they continue to achieve success. This monitoring demonstrates that CBE students continue to outperform the province on provincial achievement tests and exams, high school completion rates continue to climb, and we are continuing to provide specialized supports to help a diverse population of students succeed.

Acting Chief Superintendent

Hello From Your New Chief Superintendent

It is an incredible responsibility to lead an organization of 140,000+ students from kindergarten to Grade 12, but it is not a job I do alone. It takes teachers, parents, support staff, partners and the whole community to enable students to thrive. I look forward to working in partnership with families to continue to provide the very best learning in the city.
